These terms cover your use of the YardCrew app and the yardcrew.io website, provided by Niv Asayag. By downloading or using YardCrew you agree to them.

Alpha software
YardCrew is free alpha software. It may have bugs, change without notice, or lose data. Back up anything important and use a test folder for sensitive work. In this alpha, workers run in host mode on your computer, which is not a full sandbox.
Your AI provider
YardCrew runs AI work through OpenAI’s Codex with your own ChatGPT account. You are responsible for following OpenAI’s terms and usage policies, and usage counts toward your plan’s limits. YardCrew is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.
You are in control of your workers
You decide what workers do, which actions you approve and what they publish or send. Review results before you rely on them: reports list their sources but are not fact-checked, and a passing test only proves what the test checks.
License and third-party components
You may download, install and use YardCrew for personal and commercial purposes free of charge. Do not redistribute modified installers or present them as official. The app bundles open-source components (including Electron and OpenAI Codex) that remain under their own licenses; their notices ship inside the app.
No warranty
YardCrew is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Niv Asayag is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from its use.
